Lancaster Area Film Festival-On Saturday, June 2, 2012, Penn Cinema, 541 Airport Road, Lititz, PA will be the place to be if you are in the market to see the work of many independent filmmakers.

The fourth annual Lancaster Area Film Festival will be screening short films that were written, directed and produced by independent filmmakers from around the world. The festival will feature 22 different films ranging from Comedy to Horror to Music Video. This year’s spotlighted films: Bathing and the Single Girl written, directed by and starring Hollywood starlet Christine Elise McCarthy, and Pretty Penny starring Lancaster county native Katie Hayek. The festival will also feature films from Lancaster County filmmakers: Mike Lombardo, Ron Good, Dylan S-C, and Stewart Bradley.

Films will start at 12pm. The day will be split into two screening sessions each session running approximately 2 hours. The second screening session will begin at 2:15pm. Tickets are $16 and can be purchased at the Penn Cinema box office or on Penn Cinema’s website, www. penncinema.com. One ticket will provide access to both screening sessions. A list and synopsis of films being screened is available now and a full schedule of events will be available approximately 3 weeks before the event.
