Visit the Mennonite Information Center
The Mennonite Information Center offers information and insight into the life and beliefs of the Amish and Mennonite communities. Mennonite Step-on-Guides are available for personal tours of the Amish country, and a movie and exhibit are provided free of charge. Staff persons are available to answer questions, and guide visitors through the area.
We have maps, brochures, and other information of the area available, as well as books and unique gifts from Ten Thousand Villages.
The Mennonite Information Center also houses the Biblical Tabernacle Reproduction, a full-size model of Moses' Tabernacle in the Wilderness. Regularly scheduled guided presentations describe the history, construction and spiritual significance of this symbolic dwelling place of God.
Mennonite Information Center is open Monday through Saturday all year.
