Founders Pat and Bob Burnley started canning in their 2-car garage back in 1954 with three children in tow. Bob raised chickens, geese, pheasants, rabbits and even sheep in the backyard that is now the village. Pat learned how to cook at home with her mother, with lots of love and care in everything they made. People used to come as far away as Philadelphia to stock their pantries and today, they come from all over the world to sample and buy from their famous kitchen.
Follow your nose and sample your way to food and fun! Stop by the canning kitchen to taste what's cooking in the kitchen that day. Grab a fresh baked cookie or whoopie pie from the Bake Shop. Enjoy lunch at The Kling House Restaurant or Kettle Cafe. You can also find an assortment of eateries including everything from kettle korn, to fudge, to made-on-the-farm ice cream and much more! Don’t forget to take a taste home to enjoy with your family and friends!
